What is PASS?

PASS is the verified network for hospitality professionals. You build a verified Chef-ID — your real, confirmed work history — get discovered by employers, and compete in 60-second cooking battles. It's identity, hiring and battles in one place.

How do I get verified?

Ask someone who saw your work — a head chef, manager, supervisor, trainer, owner, or even a coworker who was there — to confirm a job. You can also verify with your work email, or have two verified coworkers vouch for you. Open 'Get verified', add where you worked, and send the request.

What is a Chef-ID?

Your Chef-ID is your permanent, verified professional identity on PASS — the confirmed roles, kitchens and career history that you keep for life and can share with employers.

What are battles?

Battles are head-to-head cooking duels. Two chefs each upload a 60-second clip of the same challenge, both clips publish together, and the community votes over 48 hours. Wins show on your profile.

How does hiring work?

Set yourself 'open to work' and verified employers can find you in search and reach out. When you're hired and both you and the employer confirm it, it becomes a verified employment record on your Chef-ID.

Is PASS free?

Yes — joining PASS, building your Chef-ID, getting verified, battling and being discoverable are free for chefs. Employers may pay to contact and hire candidates.

My verification is taking a while — what can I do?

You don't have to wait on one person. Use the Remind button, send your request directly via WhatsApp or SMS with the share link, ask a coworker who was there to vouch, or verify with your work email.

How do I verify someone as a head chef or manager?

When a chef asks you to confirm a job, you get a request in your verification inbox. Open it, check the details, and approve — that creates a verified record on their Chef-ID.

Who can see my information?

You control what's public. Your verified history is yours; you choose whether to share your career publicly. Employers see your verified profile when you're open to work, and you can export or delete your data anytime.

What languages does PASS support?

PASS works in 18 languages, and this assistant can answer you in your own language.

How do I delete my account?

Open your profile, go to privacy settings, and choose to delete your account — this erases your personal data and removes your profile. You can export your data first if you'd like a copy.
